Oh, what a great time I had! As soon as the train pulled in, I got a neat-o letter from the Circle of Blood. They told me all types of things about my bloodline. Then I met a real Koghem Shaman! He came to meet Dr. Osmond, but I don’t think he liked him much. I promised him I’d help his people in exchange of learning of their ways. I hear they basically pirate in sand oceans!
I’m starting to get to know the other expeditioners better. Met a couple who didn’t come to the last excursion either. I really want to help this be successful. I’m working hard to learn everything I can, but it’s a lot to take in. Especially with how unsettled I’ve been since carving my arm in ancient Koghem while I was researching that creepy fish cult. I only looked up the stupid things at the Alraj Library so I could help the Expedition. Luckily it was pretty much healed by the time I was on the train out, so I feel a lot better about it.
Lots of people got hurt this time, seems like a bunch of people needed to rely on edge to help themselves. Didn’t seem to help that poor Talos guy, though. I thought Mr. Woolard just gave him a new flower, but apparently that’s how you know you’re on your last death in these parts. Must have gave him some extra spunk because he called that Inquisitor with the unnecessarily long sword from the fight against the Sins out in front of everyone. I have to say, it was a little disturbing he didn’t refute Talos’ claims.
On the bright side, I managed to scrape enough money together to send to Anne. I really should visit the kids soon, but I really need to go to the Waste in Sulim to learn from the Koghem. Maybe I can go after? The kids may be interested to learn about their heritage. I mean, they won’t understand it, they’re too young, but you know...in general.
