We have a few updates to announce:
Summer Feast
We now have a date for our first Summer Feast: Sunday, August 21st. It is located at Burnams Pub House (366 Pleasant Street, Ashland MA). Check-in begins at 1:00 PM, with the event itself beginning at 2:00 PM. The Pre-registration price is $20, with a door price of $25. Players receive a default 1 CP for attending, with an additional +1 each for pre-registering and pre-paying. You can RSVP on facebook here, and there will be an in-game announcement thread soon to follow.
Registration procedures for this event are the same as for a standard event; you should submit the questionnaire found here to staff@sinsofanation.com. Please note the answers even if they are the same as your last registration.
Event 2
Due to the condition of some of the larger cabins on site, our second event (September 30th) has has a 40 player cap, which will persist until the facilities on site have been expanded (or until that particular problem has been dealt with). Additionally, players will be able to tent for a $20 discount. The main tenting area will be the grassy area in the horseshoe, and it is our hope to set up some of the desired in-game locations there as well.

Donations
We are also announcing our policies regarding donations and general in-game to out-of-game money conversion. Donations will be accepted by request only, and the conversion rate for a donation is one CP per $15 value or 1 hour of work. Additionally, a player is only permitted to sell out-of-game items in-game for up to 25 shares each event. Characters who have access to the Alchemy or Artisan headers may increase this limit by 5 shares per Tier of those headers achieved. Likewise, characters with Reputation increase this limit by 5 shares per rank of Reputation.
Rules Updates
We have gone over all of the rules feedback in the evaluations, and the vast majority of it is going to be covered in our update to 1.0 over the winter. For now, we want to focus on sharpening our logistical situation so that next event is awesome.
However, there are a couple of changes that are going into effect before next event. Those are as follows:
The Alchemy Upkeep Skill "Large Batch" has been replaced with the following:
Specialized Training
After selecting this ability choose one of the Tier 1 Alchemist Abilities that you know. If this ability is activated, every time you use said ability you gain a bonus use of said ability.
ABILITY COST: 2CP ACTIVATION COST: 1FP or SP UPKEEP
PREREQUISITE: Alchemy Header, 2 Tier 1 Alchemy Abilities
If your current build contains Large Batch and you do not want to take Specialized Training instead, you will be allowed a free character rebuild. This will always be our policy regarding changes to the rules.
Also, in order to craft items above Tier 0 during Timeblocks going forward, crafters will need the appropriate "Craft Blank" skill, such as this one:
Craft Apprentice Blank - Allows Character to craft tier 1 or higher items over timeblocks. Also gives one free blank of appropriate tier to character for free. See the Crafting Appendix for more information.
PREREQUISITE: Artisan Header
ABILITY COST: 2CP
Any actions taken during this cycle of Timeblocks will of course be exempt from this requirement.
