Sheppard, Dr Lupo Renfield, and 1 more like this

So, this was the first time that I have ever played any kind of boss role, let alone THE reoccurring boss of the event. I also am just not good at grunting as a foundation and don't think on my feet particularly well. I had been nervous about this since inception, and before each encounter I was nearly shaking. Luckily, I had two great support people at my side most of the time, and it seems like we got through it alright.
But during that second fight, this was absolutely one of my favorite moments:
Ahri, out of nowhere: *indistinguishable call*
Me: Clarify what was that?
Ahri: Fey Bane.
Me, completely out of game: ...Oh! Well done! *resumes displeased in-game screaming*
Also, I wasn't sure what to do when you guys killed the mini-banshees and then like stopped fighting me, so I'm glad freaking out on Fadri holding the symbol seems to have got things back on track. That wasn't 100% planned.
I'm also soooo happy we got that bluetooth speaker to work, and that that apparently kicked those encounters to the next level. We were really pleased to hear that the majority of our community is of similar mind about non-diegetic background music, and now that that's in our toolkit I hope we can really master it.
Other moments:
The culmination of several weeks of work on the music puzzle mod. When I did the sound check for that it gave me chills, and I hope you guys got that too. I'm sorry more people couldn't see it first-hand. I also loved watching you guys forge a dungeoneering blood bond over the course of that mod, and oh god, obvious out-of-game Jeff facilitating that was adorable.
On a related note (oh god it's a pun), Ahri misunderstanding what I meant by "mote of sound" and the subsequent conception of SOUND ALLIGATORS.
Managing to at least creep a couple people out with the death song.
Finding out why it took so long for Edmund and co to get to the separatist compound--didn't realize he was breaking out the experimental tech! Also, the great in-game character summation that was Ayrina showing Edmund how to put some elbow grease into loading a single-shot pistol.
Sam's reaction to seeing me gearing up as Lady Sakura, and subsequently watching a man fall in love HARD with one of our culture concepts as I explained what Rukazen is.
Dinner with Vrajj.
Hearing the completely expected but still amusing description of the players' reaction to that sound.
[Redacted]: I could take care of a certain man the speaks poorly of you.
[Redacted]: *snort* You say this as if it was not already being taken care of.
[Redacted]: Please, my lady, allow me to kill him for you.
Casually grilling a man about where exactly his loyalties lie. Also causally observing a rocket fight.
I want to express again how thankful we are for the community that we've built. Some of you entered into this event knowing the slew of things that had gone wrong within the last 24 hours; many more didn't. Still, every one of you gave us your uncompromising patience and trust. We love you all.
