The following has been posted to the Expedition Bulletin Board, as well as mailed to each member of the Expedition:
To the active members of the Galdrian Expedition,
Please find enclosed the official briefing for the 5th Expedition, commencing the 18th of Arc of Coins.
Our preliminary scouts have identified a section of Abhein that could plausibly have functioned as a quarantine for the contagion that some expeditiousness have theorized to have occurred during the late stages of Galdria's reign. This section will henceforth be referred to as the Plague Quarter until identified otherwise. The primary objective of this expedition will be to investigate the Plague Quarter and confirm or deny such a plague's role in the fall of Galdria.
Sources have also detected low but sustained Sin activity in the region. Any degree of Sin activity is cause for concern; therefore we request that all expeditioners provide full cooperation to any efforts conducted by representatives of the Church of Altina during this time.
