Another question to keep thoughts rolling,
In regards to Atlas whom I believe we have pronounced dead. Normally a gate is closed once you die. If the blight is keeping Atlas “alive” in a way I assume is similar to Virgil, do you think his gate is still open? Closed? Maybe something else?

As of right now, from all that I am aware of is his gate is shut. That being said, we now know that Blight does have Sentience, it does learn and from Virgil Alexander Moore we know that blight is able to exhibit control over individuals. I believe an example are Ghouls, a form of undead that are also blighted until they are arisen. Blight scourges show a similar ability where they are able to act independently, while also following instructions which would at least appear by behavior. This would point to a serious lack of knowledge on my part as to Magisters, which is what Atlas looked like the last time I saw "him". I did not see VAM when he was enveloped in blight. Perhaps Aliyah'Vihaan can answer this more accurately.

It is my understanding, that a Blight encompassed individual's gate is not in fact closed, but taken over. It may in fact be how the Entity takes control over those who succumb to it (it is my current theory).
As to specifics, I would surmise Atlas's gate is in fact open but no longer his own, but simply a new extension of the Entity (as it was with Virgil).

Thank you for your input, I will mark it in my notes. Albeit a small portion of information, I feel that any minor fact or theory could help us in our research.
