The following has been posted to the Expedition Bulletin Board, as well as mailed to each member of the Expedition:
To the active members of the Galdrian Expedition,
Please find enclosed the official briefing for the 12th Expedition, commencing the 20th of Arc of Reaping.
The Expeditionary Council has been advised by members of the Expedition that an undertaking to return to a previously-discovered temple of Ophana should be considered priority. To that end, the Expedition will be deployed to Abhein. Preliminary scouting has identified several additional ruined locations that may be connected to the central temple complex; it is expected that each of these sites will be investigated over the course of this deployment. A representative of Delbray University will be dispatched to assist in coordination of this operation.
Please be advised that some residual effects of the aetheric flare have yet to subside in this region, likely exasperated by the local blight concentration. Extraplanar activity, such as spirits and outsiders, are expected at higher rates than normal. The church of Altina has subsequently issued an advisory regarding sins of wrath in the area.
Finally, we have received confirmation from representatives of House Nara of Mirelia that their mercantile operations will be present in Abhein once again as part of their annual trade festival.
