Greetings Expeditioners!
We have several announcements to share with you today.
Firstly, our 2018 Winter Feast will be held on Saturday, February 17th. As with our previous Feasts, we will be located at Burnam's Pub house in Ashland, MA. Player cost is $20 pre-paid up to two weeks prior, or $25 at the door. Food is included. You can pre-register here.
The check-in will be open from 1:00-2:00PM, and the event begins at 2:00PM. Boffer weapons and dart guns are permitted but should not be used within the building. As per usual, absolutely no alcohol is permitted on the premises.
We will be posting an in-game invitation with more details as the event approaches. As usual, Timeblocks can be expected to go out during the week leading up to the Feast.
Secondly, we are pleased to announce that 2018 will be our first full, four-event year! In order to do this, we will be splitting our events across two camp sites: Camp Howe in Goshen, MA, known in-game as Abhein, and Chesterfield Scout Reservation in Williamsburg, MA (which has been reclaimed by our friends over at Magestry), known in-game as Aldgate.
Our event schedule is as follows, with a TBA Summer Feast coming in July. Note that you may click on any of these event dates to access the pre-registration form for that event:
-May 18-20 at Camp Howe (Abhein)
-June 15-17 at Chesterfield Scout Reservation (Aldgate)
-August 17-19 at Chesterfield Scout Reservation (Aldgate)
-September 21-23 at Camp Howe (Abhein)
You'll notice that we are maintaining in-game distinctions between these sites for ease of communication, and we will be posting briefings as to the objective of each expedition relevant to it's location as we approach each event.
We will be offering a special bonus for anyone who pre-pays for this season by the end of November. For each full event that you pre-pay during this month, you will receive 1 CP, with an additional 1 CP for the whole set, totaling at 5CP.
Please note that due to logistical challenges that we have faced previously, the following policy changes will be going into effect as of 2018:
-ALL pre-event logistics, including Character Updates of any kind, are due two weeks prior to each event. If you would like to make any skill purchases or other tweaks to your character, they must be submitted by this time or will not be valid for that event. Character updates should always be sent to characters@sinsofanation.com.
-Exchanges will now be reported by the players attending said exchanges, and retroactively confirmed with the corresponding game. Note that you cannot pre-emptively report having attended an exchange in order to circumvent the above deadline.
-All character bags MUST be returned to staff at the end of each event. If you do not return your bag, you will be unable to benefit from any earned Essence or items in your character's possession until after the following event. If you must leave site early, please come to staff center on your way out in order to check out. If for some reason that is not possible, please leave your bag on one of the shelves inside our bar setup in the tavern (this is considered out of game and cannot subsequently be taken by another player).
